Pecado Films is an independent production company founded in 2008. Passionate about our job, Jose Alba(IMDb)and Odile Antonio-Baez(IMDb)put all our energy and perseverance at the service of young and passionate filmmakers every day, supporting and spreading the talent of the Andalusian and Spanish industry throughout the world.
Nuestros proyectos, entre los que se podrían mencionar Cerrar los ojos de Víctor Erice, Mamacruz de Patricia Ortega, Oliver's Universe de Alexis Morante, Journey to a Mother’s Room de Celia Rico Clavellino, Gernika de Koldo Serra o When Brooklyn Met Seville de Vicente Villanueva, acumulan varias nominaciones a los Premios Goya y galardones en los Premios Feroz, Premios Carmen, CEC, Sant Jordi, Gaudí, Mestre Mateo, así como participaciones y premios en festivales de todo el mundo, como en las secciones oficiales del Festival de Cine de Cannes y de Sundance, Seminci Joven, Just Night – Tallin Black Nights y una Mención Especial del Jurado y un Premio de la Juventud en el Festival de Cine de San Sebastián.
Pecado Films is a company co-funded by the European Union, Creative Europe MEDIA - Slate Funding Programme.Besides, we have been granted with the support of Ibermedia, Media and Eurimages in the international co-productions we have been part of. Mr. Ángel Durández, producer of Blancanieves o Blackthorn is a strategic collaborator of the company.
